Our fire status rating has finally dropped but only by 1 point., which means we are now in Early shift for High risk activities with a 2 hour fire watch. Means chainsaws can be used now until 1 pm but you have to actively (be onsite watching) watch the area for 2 hours after use.
We are still at campfires only.
Please be careful out there as it is still very very dry in the bush.
