South End Cistern

Hello Everyone,
Today we filled the new MICS cistern that we recently purchased and placed near the South End blue pump well.
We were able to buy this cistern with money received from a successful RDN grant application. The grant was awarded specifically for the purchase of a cistern. Thank you to Jes Andersen for bringing this grant to our attention. Thanks also to Chad Giesbrecht for sourcing the tank, bringing it to the island, preparing the pad and placing the tank. This tank will help increase our readily available emergency water and is strategically located with easy access. We still have a little plumbing to do on the tank that will allow for a quick connect and fill for our trucks. Thanks to everyone who has helped with this project.
